Hey there — you're almost done with your college applications! Here's everything you should do before the end of 2021.
Your College Checklist (12/20-12/31) 🎯
- Act on your early college decisions (If applicable). Most schools have released their early application decisions. Here are your next steps:
- If you were accepted — congrats! Review your financial aid package with your family and watch your inbox for next steps to enroll.
- If you were deferred from your early application school, submit a letter of continued interest. Then, get ahead on your regular decision applications.
- If you were rejected — Reflect on what went well and what you can improve for your next cycle of applications. Check out this blog for additional advice.
- Submit your regular decision applications. We recommend that you submit that you submit your applications by 12/24 to avoid technical glitches and minimize mistakes.
- Create a list of scholarships to apply to in 2022. With college applications submitted, you'll have more time to chase that bread 🤑. Organize deadlines for scholarships you want to apply for — check out our template!
🎯 Remember: YOU determine your future, not a specific school or program. While some schools may plug students into specific resources or networks, those with the most drive, passion, and grit are the best equipped to succeed. You got this!
